SOUTHERN MAINE FLAME IS BACK!
The Flame started with a mission - a non-profit organization that provides an opportunity for girls 10 and older to play competitive softball in a positive environment that is reasonably priced. As softball in Southern Maine became more popular, several for-profit organizations have sprung up with good, but expensive offerings. We are relaunching Flame to bring renewed energy to providing fairly priced, great quality softball to the families of Southern Maine.
We are looking to relaunch with a U10 team, a U12 team and a U14 team for the 2022-2023 season and we are looking for coaches. As a coach for Southern Maine Flame, you are able to select tourney weekends, tryout dates and your child will play for free. Southern Maine Flame
The Southern Maine Flame Amateur Softball Association (ASA) is a non-profit, girls travel softball organization. Our volunteer-run program is dedicated to offering opportunities for ambitious, young female athletes to play travel softball at the highest level of competition. We strive to instruct our players on the fundamental skills necessary to compete on the softball field, while simultaneously practicing life skills that will benefit them outside of the game. Our ultimate goal is to build character by teaching self-discipline, confidence and teamwork.
